We hope you and your families, friends, employees, and coworkers are well in this challenging time. All of the Northstar Protection team is healthy, and we are here for your protection system needs. We are reaching out today because we want to reassure our customers that:

• We do view the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) as a serious potential threat to our employees, who are the greatest asset in our company. We are taking numerous steps to protect our employees including strict social distancing practices both in the office and in the field, enhanced office cleaning and sanitizing procedures, etc. We also are not performing fieldwork if it does not allow us to adhere to smart health protection practices.
• If we monitor your alarm system, our alarm monitoring service is not at risk. Our Monitoring Partner, Rapid Response, operates bi-coastal Monitoring Centers to provide redundancy not only for our advanced technologies but to ensure uninterrupted service. Both are full-load centers able to handle all incoming signals should either center fail, which is not likely given the multiple redundancies designed within each center. Should there be a sudden drop in personnel for any reason, the Rapid Response Interactive Voice Response system will be employed to address notification and burglary signals, freeing available Specialists to handle critical events and dispatching.
• We are available for service. Due to our work being critical safety systems including access control, security systems, and fire alarms/life safety systems. In many cases, we provide these services for other essential service providers, including fire and police departments, healthcare facilities, and more. If you need service, please let us know.

We are hopeful that the common-sense strategies being deployed at Federal, State, Public, and Private levels will be successful so we can look at a return to something resembling normal in the not too distant future.
